[01] Data infrastructure for an entire industry_

The automotive aftermarket is
building its next [Data] foundation.

Kyvera is where it happens. We build and operate the shared data infrastructure of the independent automotive aftermarket: neutral ground where the industry connects its knowledge.

[02] The asymmetry_

Along its value chain, from manufacturer to distributor to workshop, the independent automotive aftermarket holds more knowledge about products and cars than ever: what fits, what fails, what is diagnosed, repaired, ordered and sold, millions of times a day. Only a fraction has ever been standardised.

The market has outgrown it

For decades that was enough, because cataloguing was the market’s dominant use of data. Data now feeds processes, platforms and applications that cataloguing never imagined, while the knowledge they need sits trapped in silos that cannot talk to one another, because real interoperability is missing.

The words are missing

The language the market does share stops at description. The words for describing exist; the words for reasoning, connecting and acting do not. So every company checks, translates and repairs the same information for itself. Non-competitive work, done everywhere at once, and paid for by everyone separately.

[03] The threshold_

Software-defined vehicles rewrite what is true after the car leaves the factory. Platforms sell with the market’s data. Sometimes against it. The buyer itself is becoming a machine: a platform today, an AI agent tomorrow. Machines buy from whoever they understand.

Soon, a workshop asks an assistant what fits and why. An agent compares, orders, books the job. Every answer draws on whatever knowledge machines can read and trust. The market’s own, or somebody else’s.

AI makes data cheap to assemble and trusted meaning scarce. The foundation that supplies it will be built either way. Who builds it decides who owns it, and this market should never have to rent its own future.

[04] The answer_

We build and operate shared data infrastructure for the independent automotive aftermarket. We convene market participants around concrete use cases; the participants decide what is shared and under which rules; Kyvera provides the neutral infrastructure that carries it.

01

THE DATA FOUNDATION

A shared language for the market’s knowledge: precise enough for machines, rich enough for what the industry actually needs to say.

It gives the market the words it has been missing, words for reasoning, connecting and acting, so that knowledge created anywhere can be understood everywhere, by people, platforms and AI systems alike.

02

THE DATA SPACE

A governed environment where companies share data under their own control: who sees what, for which purpose, on which terms.

This is where interoperability becomes real, where silos connect without merging, and where competitors can work on common problems without giving up what makes them competitors.

03

THE USE CASES

Connecting the dots: data flowing across the value chain, evidence flowing back from it, and every station in between working from the same truth.

Each one starts with a real problem, committed participants and a measurable benefit; together they bring the whole value chain closer together.

[05] The mandate_

Kyvera is the automotive aftermarket’s innovation hub. It was founded by TecAlliance, which is owned by around thirty leading companies of the industry.

The mandate comes from the market: neutral by design, non-discriminating, the same terms for everyone. What gets built, the market decides, one committed use case at a time.

TecAlliance

Christian Müller

Co-Founder & Managing Director

Leads strategy and collaboration with the market: shareholders, consortia and industry initiatives. Ten years in the aftermarket’s data business; has built data ventures in the sector before.

Marina Ribke

Co-Founder & Managing Director

Leads technology and architecture. Chief Data and Technology Officer of TecAlliance; previously Chief Enterprise Architect at Mercedes-Benz, where she shaped the platform architecture of Catena-X.

[06] The frontier_

Kyvera is a small, senior team building infrastructure for an entire industry. The problems are zero-to-one: semantics, data engineering, AI, governance, ecosystem design. The interesting questions do not have answers yet, and the first versions of everything are yours to get wrong and right.

The backing is not a funding round but the market itself. There is no runway anxiety and no pivot theatre: the owners are the companies the work is for, and what you build is measured by whether they use it. You work directly with the founders and with the people who run the automotive aftermarket’s leading companies; when a decision is needed, the person who can make it is in the room.

How we hire

Focused and fast: most processes finish within two weeks, and you hear from us at every step. You talk directly to the people you would work with.

Nothing fits? New roles open as work grows.Tell us what you would build with us.

Step/01

Application review

Our team will review your CV and statement of exceptional work. 2 to 3 days.

Step/02

Screening interview

45 minutes, to learn more about you and assess if the role fits. Prepare for short technical questions and a review of your background.

Step/03

[07] The questions_

Kyvera is the automotive aftermarket’s innovation hub, founded by TecAlliance. We build and operate the market’s next data foundation, the data space where it is used, and the use cases on top, together with the participants who use them. We are infrastructure, not another product: what we build works underneath the systems the market already runs.

Kyvera was founded by TecAlliance, which is owned by around thirty leading companies of the automotive aftermarket. Through that structure, ownership and mandate sit with the industry itself. Neutrality is structural, not promised.

Nothing that works today breaks. Kyvera builds infrastructure for what existing standards were never designed to do: reasoning, connecting and acting on knowledge across the whole market. Anything new proves its value with participants before the market adopts it, and where it does, the value of what exists carries forward; nothing is switched off by decree.

Any company that works in or with the independent aftermarket: the chain itself, manufacturer to distributor to workshop, and the platforms, systems and data providers it runs on. Access is non-discriminating: the same terms for everyone, no one locked in, no one locked out. The way in is a use case: bring a problem worth solving together, or join one already being worked on.

Exploring costs nothing: use cases begin as conversations, and nobody pays to be in one. When a use case moves to building, its participants agree the commercial model before work starts, who contributes what, in money, data or people, and what each gets back. Nobody funds work they have not committed to, and nobody discovers costs after the fact.

The company that brings it. In the data space every participant decides what is shared, for which purpose and on which terms, and those rules travel with the data, enforced by the infrastructure rather than by trust alone. Sharing never means surrendering.

No. Kyvera is neutral by design: we operate infrastructure and services for the market and do not build products that compete with the companies we serve. That is also how we earn our keep, operating what the market shares, never owning what participants know.

The first consortia are at work: market participants building the first use cases on the new foundation. We name partners and results when the partners do. If you want to shape what gets built, this is the early moment, and the door is the conversation.
